I hope you are staying safe and doing as well as you possibly can during these challenging times. As you may know, our office has been closed since March 24 to comply with local regulations and to do our part to help diminish the spread of COVID-19. In the interim, we have been fielding lots of phone calls, and I have been doing virtual consultations, which have been so popular that we will continue to offer this option for anyone who requests it. In addition, my staff and I have been diligently preparing to re-open the office on Monday, May 4. To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we will be implementing new protocols and procedures that have been created with guidance from local and national authorities. For example, our capacity will be significantly reduced in order to better control the number and flow of patients into the building. Therefore, only each individual patient will be seen at a time (if others have accompanied you, we kindly ask that they wait for you outside or in your vehicle, as the waiting area is currently unavailable). Each patient will undergo a verbal health screening and temperature check upon arrival, and please remember to wear a face mask. Furthermore, strict cleaning protocols are in place, and we are allowing ample time between appointments to adequately sanitize our facility.
